SAVOY AUTOMATION AND RADIONICS, INC.
ANNOUNCE AUTOMATED HOME SECURITY SOLUTION

Leading home security dealer to re-sell
Savoy’s industry leading CyberHouse™, home automation software

WESTBOROUGH, Mass. - January 26, 1999
Savoy Automation, a leader in Windows-based software tools for automation, monitoring and control applications, announced today a resale agreement with Radionics, Inc., a leading manufacturer of home security appliances with provisions for fire, intrusion, access and information security. Radionics will bundle Savoy’s CyberHouse™ software to work with its smoke detectors, fire panels and security transmitters to provide seamless, automated control over these security measures.

Used in conjunction with Radionics’ security devices and panels, Savoy software creates an innovative intelligent security center that allows users to monitor the various safety and security concerns in their homes. The bundled solution is designed to be controlled from a home-based PC and run over a local-area network (LAN). The combination increases the level of safety and control for the end-user and consequently the level of comfort and convenience.

"Savoy Automation has developed proven solutions in automating the home environment," said Drew Chernoy, vice president of marketing for Radionics. "Extending the functionality of our industry leading safety and security devices through CyberHouse gives our customers the ability to have centralized and automated control over these critical appliances."

"Savoy Automation is committed to working with the best manufacturers of safety, security, lighting and other devices," said Bill Frank, vice president of marketing and sales for Savoy Automation. "The Radionics suite of safety and security devices is a natural ally of CyberHouse’s centralized and automated control functionality. In combining CyberHouse with its own technologies, Radionics can offer its customers a superior level of safety, security, convenience and manageability."
