Crestron Breaks Ground – New Technology Complex is Underway

February 1, 1999 - Rockleigh, NJ, USA– Crestron is pleased to announce the construction of a new Technology Complex at their Rockleigh, NJ headquarters. The flagship for A/V design, technology and interactive learning.

Crestron’s multi-function Technology Complex is designed with education and business in mind. The result of Crestron’s commitment to education and industry excellence, the new Technology Complex is a true showcase for quality. A training center, communications hub and conference center combines to make this among the industry’s finest.

The training center is designed with interactive education in the forefront, with each student participating from his or her own workstation. Each workstation is equipped with its own Crestron Generation CNX control system (fully demonstrating the exclusive Ethernet-based capabilities offered only by Crestron), Crestron VideoTouch color video touchpanel and demo A/V equipment for real-world programming and testing.

Crestron’s Technology Complex also includes a fully equipped communications hub, providing the latest in videoconferencing technology and network communications. Fully operational for day-to-day business, the communications hub is incorporated in the hands-on portion of many Crestron technical classes.

Last, but not least, Crestron’s Technology Complex includes a conference center for meetings, lectures and demonstrations. Featuring the industry’s latest and greatest audio, video, routing, signal management and projection technologies, you’ll find this multi-purpose room in use for a sales presentation, technology demo or one of Crestron’s "Can Do" team meetings.

ICIA (the International Communications Industry Association) is hosting Crestron technical training during Crestron’s early 1999 "Technology Complex" renovation. ICIA’s Alexandria, VA headquarters is an ideal environment to enhance Crestron training during the construction.

Scheduled for a June grand opening, the new Crestron Technology Complex will be used for meetings, Crestron training and to host industry training for organizations like the NSCA (National System Contractors Association) and others.
