RCS Welcomes New Product Manager

Harvard, MA 30 October, 1998 -- Residential Cabling System (RCS), premier provider of voice, data, video and audio cabling systems for the home, is pleased to welcome Brian Reed as their new Product Manager.

Working in the commercial side of the communications industry, Reed has had 20 years of experience in the management, development and design of unique and innovative telecommunications products. This extensive knowledge of new product development, from conception through to marketing, gives him the full spectrum of necessary skills to manage the RCS product line. Scott Miles, General Manager, feels "Brian’s expanse of knowledge and experience in product management is exceptional. We’re extremely pleased he has decided to join our dedicated team."

Reed is also well known for his strong communication skills. Combined with his engineering knowledge, his speaking talents have propelled him throughout the global marketplace to many locations in the America’s, Asia Pacific and Europe. Additionally, he has augmented the sales force in a number of previous positions by providing extensive support at domestic and international trade shows and given numerous sales and technical presentations. He has also been a frequent contributor to industry publications such as Cabling Business and Cabling Installation and Maintenance.

Reed is enthusiastic about making the change from the commercial to the residential side of the market. "The residential market is something I have always believed to have enormous potential for development and growth in the next millennium and I’m truly excited to be a part of this market while it’s still in its infancy." The RCS staff is well acquainted with Reed whose colorful character and wealth of knowledge combine to make him both a valuable resource and an engaging personality to work with. Reed, when not travelling, is based in the RCS plant in Hooksett, NH.
