The Watering Levels can be adjusted within this separate layout called Watering Levels. The controls layout uses the values from this layout to determine when to advance to the next stage. The percentage is calculated against the total time allotted for that zone. For example, if the zone has allowed for 10 minutes, under moderate watering conditions, the time will be multiplied by .45 (or 45% of 10 minutes -- 4 minutes, 30 seconds) You can adjust these percentages at any time once the application is running, or you can set the percentages permanently so when the application is restarted, you don't lose your adjustments.  

Sprinkling Times:

Sprinkling times are also entered into the application the same way. The the customer can specify any number of minutes for each zone up to 100. These times are then adjusted by the percentages specified above:

Now, your Watering Control System is in place, all for the price of a new timer, or for free if you already have The Smart Housekeeper! This method of controlling your sprinkling system enables you to determine the exact amount of water that is required for your lawn. If you really wanted to get tricky, you could use the Smart Housekeeper to calculate the exact amount of water that has evaporated from your lawn based on the ambient humidity, elapsed time, ambient temperature, and the amount of rainfall!!
