PLM-24 is a low cost and easy to build Power Line Modem that let you send and receive serial data over the power lines as easy as 1,2,3!

plm24-04.gif (11640 bytes)The PLM-24 Power Line Modem is designed as a small module to be used in new or existing designs and can easily be interfaced with any PC or microcontroller that is able to send and receive serial data at 2400 bps or less.

Use it to build your own bi-directional home automation system where you can control lights, relays, measure temperature, measure power consumption, query status of switches, implement advanced alarm systems, display info on small LCD terminals etc.

The module itself is protocol independent so you can use whichever simple or complicated protocol you want. By being protocol independent, the PLM-24 isn't limited to a maximum number of nodes in the network. You can have as few as two PLM-24's and our upcoming S.N.A.P protocol will let you have up to 16.7 million nodes in your network!

By using our free PLM-24 <-> TCP/IP Gateway software you are able to connect your HA system directly to the Internet and access your house from any place in the world!
