Smart Corporation Announces Ship Date

SmartOne Home Management System Becomes Available in November

CEDIA EXPO ’97, Atlanta, Sept. 5, 1997—Smart Corporation, a leader in developing and manufacturing integrated home management products and technologies, has announced that the first components in its family of modular, affordable SmartOneTM home management products will begin shipping on Wednesday, November 5, 1997.

The new products are the SmartOneTM Manager Plus, the SmartOne Bridge, the SmartOne 30 Amp Load Controller, the SmartOne Security Module, HomeToolTM software, and a series of CEBus® Compatible Switches. They will be available exclusively through authorized SmartOne dealers.

"These products are the result of more than three years of extensive research, product development and testing," said Smart Corporation Chief Executive Officer Herman Cárdenas. "Everyone has worked extremely hard to make sure SmartOne products deliver the benefits homeowners and installation professionals need and expect, and I think people will be pleased at how well they do the job."

"It has been a long time in coming, however, I believe you will not find a better Home Management system than SmartOne. Feature for feature, there exist no better value in our market." commented Director of Marketing and Sales Mike Isaacs. "We expect to bring additional SmartOne products to the market through the end of the year and into the first quarter of 1998."

"The market potential for this product is tremendous and we know from the reactions by our dealers that they too understand this potential and expect to increase their business beyond the traditional new construction market as a result" noted National Sales Manager Marc Tieszen.

Smart Corporation specializes in designing and manufacturing innovative home management products and technologies and is a leading developer of CEBus compatible products. Its products are designed to emphasize affordability, ease of use and installation, and easy integration with existing products.

SmartOne products can be seen at the Georgia World Congress Center, Booth 2218, during CEDIA EXPO ‘97.
