CUSTOM SOLUTIONS, INC. ANNOUNCES PAL VIDEO VERSION OF HOMEVISION
Custom Solutions, Inc. announced today the immediate availability of a PAL video option for its flagship home automation controller, HomeVision. HomeVision's video output was previously available only in NTSC format, the standard used in the United States. PAL video is the most widely-used video format in other countries. This new option brings HomeVision's unmatched capabilities to the international market.
HomeVision has been one of the most widely acclaimed home automation control systems since it's debut at Habitech '96. Electronic House selected it as one of it's top 12 home automation systems for 1997 (see February 1997 issue) based on it's many features:
- Two-way X-10 (all 256 addresses)
- Two-way learning infrared (255 signals)
- 24 I/O ports (expandable)
- Video output screens displayed on the TV
- "Stand-alone" capability
- Full control over serial interface
- .. and much more
Although HomeVision is designed to run stand-alone, users can leave it connected to a PC to expand its capabilities. HomeVision currently works with Home Voice, MASS, and HomAtion 2000 software. Support for ECS and HAL2000 will be available shortly.
Custom Solutions is currently forming relationships with international home automation distributors to bring HomeVision to the international market. It will also be available from the leading U.S. distributors. Detailed information is available at Custom Solutions' Internet site at http://www.csi3.com .
