Applied Future Technologies To Introduce
HomeISA
TM Controller Product at CEDIA EXPO ‘97

Arvada, CO, August 29, 1997 --- Applied Future Technologies, Inc. (AFT) will be introducing their HomeISATM controller product at the Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) EXPO ’97 which will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA, September 3-7, 1997.

"The CEDIA EXPO ’97 gives us an excellent opportunity to introduce and display our new HomeISATM home automation controller " said Michael Elder, AFT Vice President. "HomeISATM is a PC card based controller that allows both X-10 powerline control and zoned Infrared control. Home ISATM is packaged with AFT’s open-air voice control software, HomeVoiceTM, and several home automation accessories to provide a cost effective, real-time voice controlled home automation system. We believe the capabilities represented by the HomeISATM and HomeVoiceTM combination provide an exciting and affordable foundation for a total home automation solution."

The Home ISATM controller is a PC based ISA card. Its capabilities include 256 two-way X-10 powerline commands and virtually unlimited Infrared commands in two control zones. In addition to the X-10 and Infrared, two analog inputs are provided and can be used for inputs such as indoor/outdoor temperature. AFT will market the HomeISATM controller as a kit including the HomeVoiceTM software, a Crown pressure zone microphone for open air commanding, a powerline interface module and cable, an X-10 compatible lamp module, an Infrared emitter, an Infrared receiver, and a temperature sensor. The suggested retail price of the HomeISATM Kit is $449.00.
