HTINews - Tips & Tricks Contest

We've started up an archive of the many great Tips and Tricks submitted to the contest so far and will keep adding to it. This month Applied Future Technologies Inc. has generously donated a copy of their HomeVoice software as our prize. Retail value $300.00. This revolutionary software allows you to speak to your home automation system and command it from any room. You don't even need a Star Trek communication device.

Honorable mention must go to Bill Harnell from Ontario, Canada (Wildlife Photograpy) and Edward Cheung of Greenbelt, MD (Garden Irrigation) for their entries (they were tied and only one vote behind Stuart). How To Enter

Email us your favorite Home Automation Tip, Trick or Idea before the deadline Sept. 15/97. The entry should contain the following information:

Your Name
Email Address
City, State, Country
Title of the Entry
Full Description of the Entry (with graphics if you like)
List of Components
Approximate Total Cost of Components

Multiple entries will be accepted.

Contest Judging

All entries will be presented in the next issue of the newsletter along with a voting ballot. The winner will be determined from the results of the ballot and the prize awarded accordingly. Have a look at this months entries and vote for your favorite.
