X-10 ActiveHome: X-10 ActiveHome’s universal and key chain remotes transmit commands incorporating radio frequencies (RF). Signals run over existing electric power wiring to receiver modules, which control lights, heating, air conditioning units, VCR’s/DSS, televisions and other home appliances. The software, supplied on a CD-ROM, provides full color representations of modules and switches with point-and-click, drag-and-drop control. This allow scheduling single or group "command" events.
