Speak to Your Home...

Speak to the Future!

HomeVoiceTM is a unique Windows '95 based software product that provides the user with the ability to control off - the - shelf home automation systems by using continuous speech voice commanding. When using HomeVoiceTM the user is able to address the system using their normal tone of voice, their normal pattern of speaking, even using slang or custom commands the end users desire. By using the 32 bit voice response capabilities of HomeVoiceTM extremely high quality voice responses to commands are available. Users may have the system respond after each command, or after only certain commands. For instance, there is no need for the system to respond after commanding "Turn on the lights". The lights turning on would be the system response. However, for other commands such as "Arm the security system in home mode.", provides the end user with feedback allowing them to be certain that the command issued was successfully carried out by the system.

HomeVoiceTM was developed to fill the requirement of freeing the end user from having to carry, wear or talk directly into a microphone or telephone. HomeVoiceTM is the first product in the world of voice control home automation that is designed to allow the users to speak to "open-air" microphones. "Open-Air" microphones imply microphones strategically placed in the house in order to pick up voice commands where ever the user is in the house. The microphones may be placed on desks, tables, mounted in ceilings or walls of the rooms. The product is designed to work in the noisy environment of the average home and has been successfully tested in the home theater applications as well.

Applied Future Technologies also offers 2 controllers including the HomeISA which is an inexpensive ISA card solution that handles X-10 and IR (Retail is $499 and includes HomeVoice which retails for $299 on its own). Call AFT for more information on these great innovations.
