HTI Newsletter Submissions

You are invited to submit your article, letter, announcement etc. to HTINews for review. The procedure is as follows:

Formats

• HTML - Submissions in HTML are preferred. Please include all graphics files. The article will be published as submitted and can include backgrounds etc.
• Text & Graphics - Plain text and graphics files will be HTML encoded by HTI. Please include graphic file locations within the text document. Graphic files must be .gif or .jpg format and sized to suit.
• MS Word & Graphics - Will be HTML encoded by HTI. Please include graphic file locations within the Word document. Graphic files must be .gif or .jpg format and sized to suit.
• Email - Short articles, letters etc. may be submitted directly in an email message. These submissions will be pasted to HTML documents by HTI.
• Other Formats - Please discuss with HTI before submitting other formats, scripts or animated graphics.

Editing
HTI reserves the right to review and perform cursory editing before publishing. Editing will concentrate on format and presentation without changing the context of the submission. Unsuitable submissions will not be published.

Copyright
Submissions may contain copyright information but bear in mind that they will be published on the internet and HTI can not be held responsible for copyright infringements.

Recognition
Articles submitted to the newsletter will be recognized as follows:

• Feature Articles, Tours etc. - Email and / or www link + Free Sponsor Page or Classified Ad.
• Letters, opinions etc. - email link
• Tips, Reviews - email and / or www link.
• Events - email and / or www link (to event details if available)

Include your biography, email address and URL at the end of your submission (separated by a horizontal rule if in HTML format).

Costs - Announcements Only
Announcements submitted by shareware authors, non profit organizations and individuals or companies offering event or newsworthy information are Free. Commercial announcements advertising products or services are subject to a fee.

How To Submit
Email is the preferred method of submission. Long or formatted articles and graphics files should be sent as attachments. Place the word "submit" in the subject area of the email message. Include a short message describing your submission and the relevant topic area in which it should be placed (make up a new topic if necessary).
