Reduces Lost Calls
Outperforms Voice-Mail VIKING Electronics, Hudson, WI, announces the introduction of its TMS-2 two-line sequencer for SOHO (small office/home office) use. Designed to give small businesses a larger image, the TMS-2 call sequencer is a better alternative to voice-mail or answering machines. It keeps the caller on the line with music or promotion on hold using a VIKING DVA-2W. Customers are more apt to wait on-hold hoping to talk to a live person. Callers are leery of getting a prompt return call after leaving a voice-mail message. No one enjoys telephone tag!

The TMS-2 also includes switchable DAY/NIGHT modes for added flexibility. In the night mode, the sequencer routes incoming calls from either line to a single answering machine.
The TMS-2 is perfect for city desks, parts counters, technical support, or customer service centers ... any business that has limited personnel and phones ringing with important calls ... calls that are too important to be lost.

Residential Phone Systems
VIKING Electronics, Hudson, Wisconsin announces the introduction of its door entry system products. Three different doorboxes are available for commercial, residential, and high security applications. The C-1000 controller unit allows the electrical contractor to connect the doorboxes to the existing premise phone line.
When a visitor presses the call button on the doorbox, it generates ring voltage onto the phone line, ringing the premise phones. If the line is in use the C-1000 controller will inject a familiar "call waiting" tone into the conversation. The user can then place the current call on hold and answer the door.
The C-1000 also comes complete with built-in relays to enable the owner to open doors of gates with a touch-tone command.
The W-1000 doorbox contains a louvered faceplate for commercial applications. The W-2000 doorbox is a surface-mount unit for residential installations. The new W-3000 is built for flush mounting and includes a high-security stainless-steel faceplate.
The C-1000, W-1000, W-2000 and the W-3000 are available nationwide through major security and supply house distributors.
