HOME AUTOMATED LIVING
BEGINS DEALER TRAINING

Laurel, MD 3/25/99 Home Automated Living (HAL), hosted the first of series dealer/installer training programs this week with a two day seminar at HAL’s home offices in Laurel, Maryland. More than fifty dealers and installers from as far away as Minnesota attended the sessions.

"The home control/home networking field needs dealers and installers to bring this wonderful technology to the people who will use it," HAL President Tim Shriver said. Shriver predicted that the demand for home control/home networking technology in the months and years ahead will require a standing army of dealers and installers.

The HAL training sessions deliver a broad overview of the home control field as well as specific, hands on exposure to many of the products that interface with the HAL product line. Training partners include Worthington Distribution, Home Automation, Inc., and Applied Digital, Inc.

HAL will hold additional training programs in various locations around the country in the months ahead. The May program will be held in Miami. Training will return to HAL’s home office in Laurel in June. Watch for details in the dealer section of the HAL web site at www.AutomatedLiving.com.
