Brea, CA: Multiplex Technology, Inc. responds to its recent success of multi-channel modulators by creating a new similar line, only in stereo. These modulators pass mts stereo throughout the house and are compatible with Dolby Pro-Logic surround sound. Each modulator offers dbx noise reduction.

Stereo modulation is a step-up from traditional modulators. Original modulators combine left and right inputs and distribute mono sound. Stereo modulators, on the other hand, pass whole-house surround sound when used in conjunction with appropriate processors.

Installation of stereo modulators is the same as putting in traditional ones. A single line of RG6 coax is ran from the modulator to the RF panel and then to each TV. No additional wires need to be pulled.

ChannelPlus’ new multi-channel stereo modulators are offered at an excellent price. Model 5615, a single channel, has a dealer price of only $230.00. Model 5625, dual channel, has a dealer price of $340.00. And, model 5645 has a dealer price of $580.00.

Each modulator allows video to be assigned to any VHF channel between 14-64 and CATV channel between 65-125 (except 95-99.) All modulators feature 25 dB output and push button channel selection. The units are designed as set-top.
