LETTERS TO HOME TOYS

Send your ideas or comments to bobh@hometoys.com and we'll see what we can find or at least use this column to let those manufacturers and software engineers know what it is that we the consumers want to buy and use.

From: Cliff Loven cloven@ibm.net

Great site/magazine - keep it up.

I'm interested (and imagine others are) if anyone knows a modification to keep the new Hawkeye II Motion Sensor (MS13A) from re-transmitting the on command every 10 seconds if it continues to see motion. I'm triggering macros in the ActiveHome unit and need the old "Stanley Motion Sensor" behavior of one on/off command to prevent macros from getting stacked up.

I am looking for a program written in Basic for controlling the CP290 that I can modify to run on an old Commodore 64. Do you know where I might locate any code?

The CP290 used to come with programs in Basic for the IBM, Apple, and Commodore, but I have not had any luck finding a source of those old disks.
