X-10 System Tray
by David Huras

Beta Software available at http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/davidhuras/x10st.htm

Here's the first shareware I've seen that operates with the CM11A (ActiveHome) interface. It also works with the Home Director and CP290. X-10 system tray is a Win95 application that does just what the name states. It puts an icon in the System Tray on your Win95 tool bar. Left Click on the icon and you get a pop-up that lets you define the devices and commands you want to include.

After that a right click on the icon and your list of commands is presented as a menu of choices (and it's fast). Just pick one and the commands it' is carried out. You can also have System Tray keep a log of the commands that are sent and received.

Set-up is quick and easy (an install wizard guides you through the process). The software is under Beta Test right now but should be completed soon.
