Following President Obama's inaugural call for Americans to invest in rebuilding our economy and infrastructure, control hardware manufacturer BitWise Controls decided to do its part in giving back to the community. And HomeToys is joining in too.

Each month during 2009, BitWise Controls will donate $1,000 worth of control products to worthy projects within the custom-install community.  Primarily those projects been done in a way to improve the facilities for charitible organizations, school children or military personnel. Any installer or integrator working on such projects can apply to be selected for a month's grant of free product.

We simply need to know who you are and what group your project benefits, along with how the BitWise products may be used in that application. You can submit your project by email to contest@hometoys.com for assessment by the HomeToys and BitWise teams. Projects can range from ‘extreme makeovers’ to little tweaks that improve the life of a worthy individual – we want to hear about them all.

So let BitWise Controls be a part of your community project by submitting your custom-install details to contest@hometoys.com. Your entries as well as company information will be featured here on Hometoys.com and on the BitWise website to offer inspiration to others.

Requirements:

Email your Company information, details of the worthy project you are working on and how BitWise Control products could enhance your project.

Who is Bitwise Controls?

With products designed and backed by over 20 years of mission-critical control, monitoring, and AV systems integration experience, Bitwise Controls is uniquely equipped to provide powerful and flexible products for the expanding commercial, industrial, educational, and residential control-systems markets. Bitwise Controls LLC was founded by veteran industry leadership in 2008 with the goal of offering innovative and reliable new products, designed, tested and manufactured in the USA.

The BitWise Controls BC4 modular system offers a wide range of control and monitoring functionality and can be used to extend the capabilities of many popular existing control systems, or act as a standalone controller. So whether it’s managing complex AV set-ups or remotely monitoring equipment, the BC4 can potentially be a part of your project.

“We designed the BC4 range with a flexible approach to its functionality,” says Mark Buster, CTO of BitWise Controls. “As installers ourselves, we wanted to be able to provide and extend control systems without the cost and proprietary nature of many traditional products, which limits what can be done and who can afford it. We believe the BC4 is the perfect ‘Swiss Army knife’ for installation professionals in residential, educational and commercial markets.”
