There are twenty Marketplaces at the show, covering all aspects of our lives. If a product or service makes our lives more fun, more comfortable or safer, it can be found at CES.

The exhibitors are getting ready. Come January 6, CES will take over Las Vegas, where the world comes to see the latest in consumer technologies. Through the show floor, meetings and special events, attendees will experience the newest and greatest innovations.

In 2015, 170,000 consumer enthusiasts from around the world gathered in 2.2 million square feet of exhibits. Nowhere else can you experience such exposure to all things electronic. Last January, there were 3,631 exhibitors from 153 countries. If you attend this January, be sure to wear good walking shoes.

As the world becomes more connected, security is a problem. The Cyber & Personal Security Marketplace, presented by CyberVista, returns to showcase technology that protects us from cyber-attacks, which are making headlines and costing businesses huge losses and consumers potential financial ruin. Tech-based connectivity provides huge benefits but creates new security risks for us all. The Cyber & Personal Security Marketplace will be located in the LVCC, South Hall 1, and will feature eleven exhibitors, showcasing innovative products ranging from smart wallets and safe payment apps to secure messaging and private Internet access. This is definitely a must see showcase.

For you followers of Shark Tank, the Emmy Award-winning ABC hit reality show will have entrepreneurs pitch their ideas. CES 2016 exhibitors, as well as the general public, are invited to present their original product or idea to the “Shark Tank” team on January 7 at The Venetian.

The all-new eCommerce Marketplace is the one-stop showcase for the most innovative solutions for the traditional consumer shopping experience. Mobile payment apps, shopping platforms, mobile concierge services and cloud solutions showcase what’s next from startups to today’s classic brands. Today, we are shopping online for goods and services, purchasing products in retail stores, ordering meals and paying bills online or with mobile devices.

When marketing a business online, there are so many different platforms you need to track. Holonis, Inc. is one of the eCommerce companies that are focused on leveling the playing field for digital commerce. With their Smarter Marketplace, they help buyers and sellers bridge the gap as technology accelerates the digital divide, such as social platforms, online review sites, blogs, search engines, and many more. Constantly checking and updating all those different platforms can be time-consuming and distracting from other important tasks. The company offers an all-in-one platform where businesses can maintain and manage each of their social channels, reviews, communications, and even online orders.

Robots have evolved from science-fiction humanoids into intelligent autonomous machines that are revolutionizing the way consumers live, work and play.  Reflecting this evolution, the Robotics Marketplace at the Sands is the place to go.  This area has grown 71% since the last CES.

One of the more well known companies is iRobot. iRobot designs and builds robots that make a difference. They manufacturer products for the home, such as the Roomba vacuum.  In business, they make patient care robots that combine autonomous navigation and mobility with telemedicine technology. They also supply robots for the military, public safety and hazmat duties. There are twenty companies showing robots.

In the 3-D Printing Marketplace, you will find companies, such as 3D Systems, which provides advanced and comprehensive 3D printers. Their products enable professionals and consumers to bring their ideas to life using its vast material selection, including plastics, metals, ceramics and edibles.

Eureka Park is the flagship startup destination at CES, providing a unique opportunity to launch a new product, service or idea. The startup from the U.K., Child Angel, provides a child locator device complete with unique biometrics, interchangeable fascias, seamless interfaces with a native app, and provides parents and caretakers with an easy and reassuring method of tracking the location of children worldwide. It's compatible with Apple, Samsung etc.

Child Angel is one of the smallest and most advanced child locator devices available in the world today. Safe and reliable location monitoring is provided by combining GPS, Wi-Fi hotspot triangulation and M2M cellular technologies. A partnership with Arkessa provides Child Angel with a secure and reliable means of connecting devices to their cloud services over cellular M2M networks.

Another innovation is Pipsqueak. Yip Yap has created Pipsqueak, the world's first Bluetooth phone for kids. Pipsqueak allows small children to embrace mobile technology in a safe way that parents love. Kids can also listen to music, play games, watch videos and fully customize Pipsqueak to keep up with their changing interests.

The Pipsqueak Bluetooth phone pairs with a parent's device much like a Bluetooth headset, and routes the call to the Pipsqueak so the child can speak to his father or grandmother, for example, without getting his or her destructive little hands on an expensive smartphone.

The sticky note just got smarter. Oronote is the sticky note for the modern age—a paperless sticky note powered by a smart device.  Oronote sticks to any firm surface. No more fumbling with paper sticky notes, searching for a pen or having notes drop to the floor. Simply write or record messages using the Oronote app.

The Oronote can play back dozens of notes when you tap, walk by, or at a certain time or with temperature change. When Oronote has something to say, it lets everyone know by lighting up and announcing that there is a message waiting. They can then tap or walk by to hear its message.

Don't miss the Smart Home Marketplace, as our homes become smarter and more efficient. Our homes will be interacting with the myriad of connected objects and devices. From basic security monitoring or more customized access to appliances, lighting, window coverings, irrigation, entertainment systems and more – homeowners are enjoying more convenience and more comfort.

Halo Smart Labs is the only IoT smoke alarm with dedicated sensor technology to quickly detect all types of fires and carbon monoxide all in one smart device. Smart sensors distinguish a false alarm from a real fire, while the weather radio in Halo+ alerts you to weather threats like a tornadoes or hurricanes.

More than 40 exhibitors will showcase the next wave of immersive multimedia for virtual reality systems and environments, and today’s latest gaming hardware, software and accessories designed for mobile, PC’s and consoles. In total, the Gaming & Virtual Reality Marketplace will expand by 77% over the 2015 CES.

Oculus VR is a technology company revolutionizing the way people experience video games. By combining wide field-of-view and low-latency head-tracking the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset provides an immersive stereoscopic 3D experience that allows players to step inside their favorite games and be a part of the action like you're really there. You can use your head movement to explore, aim, and interact – it's an entirely new way to play.

Watching a movie in a VR theater is the next best thing to owning your own personal multiplex. Free from the distractions of the outside world, you’ll be completely immersed as you watch your favorite movies on a theater-sized scale. Gear VR is compatible with the 2015 Samsung Galaxy flagship smartphones. Just snap your phone into the Gear VR and you're in virtual reality.

There are twenty Marketplaces at the show, covering all aspects of our lives. If a product or service makes our lives more fun, more comfortable or safer, it can be found at CES.
