CP290 Software

XTend Version 1.0 by Rafael Fiol Email

Software available at and http://www.bridge.net/~xpress/xtend/ and the HTI Shareware Library.

Now this is a great little utility program for Windows 95 users. It resides on the Win95 task bar and controls your X10 modules directly with a right mouse button click.

No help system is required as the software installs itself and is very straight forward. To set up and add modules to the system just double click on the CP290 icon on the task bar.

Add Modules with XTend

Select Options with XTend

Once you're setup, a right mouse button click on the Icon will list all the modules and allow you to turn them ON/OFF/DIM immediately from a pop-up menu.

This program epitomizes the KISS principle and is a great addition for anyone who uses the CP290 for X10 control.

Download a copy (1.24 MB self extracting file) from Rafael's web site and try it out. You don't need the CP290 installed to review the software and for those of you unsure of what it (CP290 controller) can do, this is a good way to make an evaluation before you buy it. If you like the software, there's easy instructions for registration ($9.95 US).
